What comes after middle school moves fast.
Honors placement decisions are often made in 8th grade, before most families are thinking about high school at all. Freshman year grades start counting toward a transcript colleges will read. And the students who handle that transition most comfortably tend to be the ones who built their algebra foundations and their reading stamina in grades 6 through 8 — not the ones who started in September of ninth grade.
That is the whole reason this page exists. Y2 Academy is a team families tend to grow with rather than visit once.
