Three passages, around four hundred words each, all written for this page. Each is followed by five questions in the same order every time (main idea, inference, vocabulary in context, detail, and author’s purpose), so the five question types become familiar rather than surprising.

There is an optional stopwatch. It records how long the reading took and nothing else. It does not stop, and it does not affect the score.
